Missing my girl

I now live on the other side of the world and Tundra is still back in Canada with J. I will never see my beautiful wolf again as I don't intend on going back and if I do it won't be in the province that she lives.

I was looking through pictures the other night because I miss her. She is now living with cats and is apparently very good with them. I think she's probably happy staying at home all day with another creature to keep her company. I hope she gets enough walks still with me not living close.

Bu-bye

So some sad news to report here... after 5 years together Jason and I have decided to part ways. There are no hard feelings and I honestly wouldn't trade the years I spent with him or the experiences we've had for anything as they've helped me grow as a person. Sometimes people grow together and sometimes people grow apart... or have different future goals.

While we remain friends and I will still be doggy sitting my beautiful wolf-hybrid, Tundra, I will not be blogging anymore as I'm expecting that these visits will become fewer and fewer... especially when J finds a girl that will be jealous of my presence (haha... we're all crazy b*tches, aren't we?)

Thank you for reading my blog & I just want to emphasize that you get out as much as you put into owning a wolf-hybrid. They are an insane amount of work but when I see how much smarter and better behaved she is compared to other dogs I know I'm sooo proud to be a part of her life. To have the opportunity to raise such a smart, amazing creature is such a gift in itself.

For some reason Tundra has never been very vocal about when so has to do her business.  Instead she will put her face down on the bed and give me a cute look.
I wish sometimes we could have taught her to ring a bell or something because she looks cute like that a lot.

She loves the summer but is easily worn out by the heat with her heavy coat.

We purchased Tundra a dog bed and she very rarely uses it... so when I see her use it, I have to take a picture.

Maybe it's because she gets hot laying on it but she does prefer the cold leather couch to her fabric bed no matter what time of year.

If you have allergies this is not the breed for you. I brushed Tundra three days ago and I got this much hair off of her last time too.

Her favorite treat

I am always surprised at how long it takes her to finish this treat. It doesn't look like much but it takes her a good 40 minutes + to finish one of these.
